Welcome to Quad Nurse

The Right Care Makes All the Difference

When someone you love needs care, you want to know they are in capable, caring hands.

Maybe your mom is having a harder time living independently. Your husband is coming home from the hospital and needs more help than you can provide on your own. Or your child or another loved one has complex medical needs that require an experienced nurse.

Whatever brings you to Quad Nurse, we start by listening. We help you understand your options and connect you with experienced nurses and caregivers who can provide the support you and your family need.

Based in Ocala, Florida, Quad Nurse provides compassionate elder care and skilled nursing support for children and adults with complex medical needs throughout our community and the areas we serve.

How Can We Help?

Care looks different for every person and every family. You may need a little extra help for an aging parent, skilled nursing for someone with ongoing medical needs, or support as a loved one transitions from the hospital or rehabilitation.

Help for an Aging Loved One

You have noticed some changes. Maybe Mom is not getting around as easily. Dad needs more help with everyday activities. Or you are simply worried about whether your loved one is safe when you cannot be there.

Quad Nurse can help with personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, respite for family caregivers, and other day-to-day support that helps older adults maintain dignity, comfort and greater independence.

Skilled Nursing for Complex Medical Needs

Sometimes care requires an experienced nurse.

Quad Nurse provides skilled nursing support for children and adults with complex medical conditions and ongoing healthcare needs. When care is more complicated, families need confidence that the person providing it has the clinical experience, judgment and compassion to care for someone they love.

We understand that complex care affects the entire family. Our goal is to provide capable nursing support while helping families feel informed, supported and confident in the care their loved one receives.

Coming Home From the Hospital?

Leaving the hospital or rehabilitation facility can bring relief and a whole new set of questions. What happens when we get home? Who will help? Can we manage this ourselves?

Quad Nurse can help families understand the support that may be available after a hospital stay, surgery, rehabilitation, or a significant change in health so the transition feels more manageable.

I have worked as a nurse for this company for almost 3 years. I have never felt more appreciated, respected, and understood as an employee. Marcus and his entire team feel passionately about their staff and their clients. I am proud to say we serve our community with nothing but humility, respect, and quality care. I would enthusiastically recommend Quad Nurse to any nurse or client. *I am not being compensated for this review*

I had the opportunity to intern at Quad Nurse LLC from late February to early April of this year. From my experience being in office and getting to see everything they do for their clients as well as their caregivers, I can say they truly care about everyone involved. They are always looking for ways to improve and were open to any suggestions I had. Shel and Ian were also great mentors. They encouraged me to ask questions, took the time to teach me whenever I wanted to learn more, and gave positive feedback when I shared ideas. The support I was given from not only my mentors, but from the whole office made it feel like I was a part of their family. Overall, this is an amazing company with a warm, welcoming environment and a team that is motivated to learn and grow. They may not have many reviews at the moment, but they deserve recognition for the labor and love they put into what they do.

Super nice and helpful staff. Giving opportunities to people just graduated or came from another state to get a new beginning. Thanks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quad Nurse connects families with qualified caregivers for personalized in-home support, ranging from assistance with daily activities to skilled private duty nursing. Services include care for adults with disabilities, quadriplegic and paraplegic care, 24-hour home care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, respite care, medication support, personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and other services based on the client’s individual needs.

Yes. Since 2012, Quad Nurse has focused on helping people with permanent disabilities with complex ongoing care needs, to remain safe and supported at home.  This includes individuals living with quadriplegia or paraplegia, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, catastrophic injuries, chronic illnesses, and other serious medical conditions.

Depending on the person’s needs, referred caregivers may assist with skin care and pressure-injury prevention, bowel and bladder routines, catheter care, respiratory support, mobility and transfers, range-of-motion exercises, personal care, nutrition, medical equipment, and household support.

Quad Nurse is a Florida-licensed nurse registry. A nurse registry connects families seeking in-home care with independent, credentialed healthcare professionals. This model gives families greater involvement in selecting a caregiver whose clinical qualifications, personality, routines, and approach are a good fit for the client. Quad Nurse focuses on vetting qualified professionals, understanding the client’s needs, and helping make an appropriate caregiver match.

Every person’s situation is different. Quad Nurse begins with a conversation about the client’s health, daily routine, personal-care needs, mobility, medical requirements, home environment, and family support. A complimentary, no-pressure in-home assessment can then help identify the appropriate services, caregiver qualifications, and schedule. The care plan can be adjusted as the client’s needs change.

Yes. Quad Nurse offers 24-hour home care and supervision for people who need continuous support, safety monitoring, personal care, companionship, or complex assistance throughout the day and night. Around-the-clock care may also include fall prevention, transportation and errands, family status updates, and communication with members of the client’s medical team. Availability and the recommended staffing arrangement depend on the client’s needs and the availability of appropriately qualified caregivers.

Quad Nurse refers qualified, credentialed nurses and caregivers from its vetted clinical registry. The matching process considers the client’s clinical needs as well as personal preferences, routines, goals, and the type of support required. The objective is to find a professional who has the appropriate skills and is also a strong personal fit for the client and family.

The cost of care depends on the type of caregiver required, the level and complexity of care, the number and length of shifts, and the schedule selected. Because each care plan is personalized, Quad Nurse can provide more accurate information after learning about the client’s needs. Families can call (352) 484-0296 or request a consultation to discuss services and expected costs.

The process begins by calling Quad Nurse or submitting the intake form. A care coordinator will learn about the client’s situation, arrange an assessment when appropriate, and begin identifying a qualified caregiver match. Quad Nurse’s process is designed to make the transition to home care clear and efficient, but the exact start date depends on the client’s needs, location, required credentials, schedule, and caregiver availability. Families preparing for a hospital or rehabilitation discharge should contact Quad Nurse as early as possible so planning can begin.

For Healthcare and Community Partners

Quad Nurse works with health plans, hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, rehabilitation providers, senior living communities, and other organizations supporting individuals and families who need care.

We strive to make referrals easy, communicate clearly, and provide responsive support that gives our partners confidence in referring to Quad Nurse again.
